They are popular in Europe and I noticed how people in the USA try to dress like Europeans but don't like roller blades.
I would like American people to answer this question if possible
Why aren't roller blades popular in USA?
I think roller blades are still popular, but people in the US don't go skating a whole lot. But when they do, I think the preferred method is roller blades.
I remember when I used to roller blade a lot and I think I don't that much anymore because it's difficult to find a good surface to do it on anymore. It's also difficult to find a safe place away from vehicles.
Reply:The ones still attempting to dress as europeans are probably not adept enough for inlines.
Obviously, your understanding of Americans and our value system is innaccurate.
Let me help you out a bit.
We DONT like your tea, it tastes really bad.
We DONT like your food, it is the most bland we have ever ingested.
Our country is much bigger, you cant just blade over to the next village.
We dont close our minds off and ask miniscule questions like this.
And, we are not enamored with your little Europe! If we were you can bet GW Bush would be trying to take your oil...
lol
Report me if you like, I haven't said anything wrong. If you are brave, you will leave my posting here for all to see.
Muwaaahaaahaaahaaa!
Reply:I think it depends on the area of USA, I my self am from St. Louis, MO and roller blade all the time. So does my mom and my kids. We go to the park and there are many blades on the track. We go to skate parks in St. Louis and in Illinois and again lots of blades.
So it must just depend on the area.
Reply:because there gay and stupid
Reply:because this country is mostly obeist and the drivers of this country are inhumane and the kids run rampant the ones who walk are either poor or have had there lisenses taken away. when i was young bycles wher in see a bike now its a miracle and probly stolen
Reply:because it's no longer 1990. The people that try to dress like Europeans might actually be the same people still roller blading!
Reply:Roller blades were VERY popular here in the U.S. throughout the 1990's. I don't know if they still are or not. I can tell you, the style of eyeglasses that are commonly seen in Western Europe have become very popular here in the last 10 years.
Reply:because any1 would much rather choose to skateboard than to be a fruit booter. here would be my choices in order of preference: skateboarding, dirt bikes, snowboarding, wakeboarding, bikes, surfing and then roller blading.
