What to look for in a roller blade to find out if they are good?
I need just simple blades to have fun. Nothing Professional.
How to find good roller blades ?
The two major brands in the US are Rollerblade and K2. There are some other brands that are good but you might not be able to find some parts for them in the future.
For recreational skating I wouldn't go with skates that have wheels smaller than 80mm (below that you are getting into some of the pretty cheap skates).
I also recommend getting ones with metal frames (the part that holds the wheels) rather than the cheaper plastic frames.
Try on every type of skate that you are considering. They all fit different feet differently. You want the skate to be snug all around your feet so that they "become part of your feet".
Don't forget to get at least a helmet and wrist guards.
