A few years ago, there was a piece of equipment that combined biking and roller blading.?
It looks like a kind of like a scooter, 3 wheels (tripod looking) with
flat areas to put your feet. It moves like roller blades (that motion). They may not even make it anymore. Thanks for any help.

are you sure didn't the box or whatever say what it was

Any pointers on how I can learn to roller blade?
I just don't want to go out there and fall flat on my ***...And which are the best blades for females??
Any pointers on how I can learn to roller blade?
Things have changed a lot since rollerblades were first introduced, but I still only use the first pair I ever owned!
I bought a pair of Real RollerBlades. Now they have a lot of knockoffs, real cheap, and don't roll very well.
I recommend laceup, if you can find them, because they are much more flexible as to how tight you want them to be. And they hold to your foot from the bottom of the laces up. Some are just buckles in three places, but they can be too loose in places.
First, practice with protective gear. Especially wrist guards and elbow guards. I've seen people wear knee pads, but I've never managed to fall forward on rollerblades, so I don't wear them!
I have broken my wrists, so I especially recommend the wrist guards. If you are VERY clumsy, a helmet might be a good idea, too.
Secondly, just practice rolling back and forth in a small area, until you are fairly certain you can stay vertical. The movement on rollerblades is a bit different than skates, but you are going to push off with one foot while rolling on the other, just like skates.
One very big difference: With skates, the balance is more precarious from front to back. With Blades, the tendancy is to tip from side to side.
Be prepared for a couple falls, but don't let that bother you or get you down. Just brush yourself off, and get back up!
As for the very best blades? Go to a sporting goods store (ie NOT one of those super size discount stores) and try on all the different styles you might like. Pay attention to comfort, just like buying shoes. If they hurt your feet or are too hard to put on in the store, you won't be happy with them, and won't want to skate, when you get home.
Happy shopping and have a great time.
Reply:Practice, practice, practice. Preferably somewhere in seclusion at first if you don't want to be seen. Good Luck!!
Reply:wear the roller blades and try stand up and hold on to something..
then let your feet form a letter "V" with your ankles on the vertex, and slowly push outside, one foot after another, still following the V pattern on your feet...
hope this helps...
Reply:yeah, just strap those bad boys on, and stand up, and go down your driveway and let the good times roll. just balance yourself. keep your legs straight and bring your knees inward a little, or is it outward? and any skates are good, just get ones with rubber tires. they're more cushy
Reply:you can go to a skate rink and stay near the sides until you get your balance. Once you get balance it's easy. I loved my RollerBlade brand and my new K2's are good as well. Any of the name brands are pretty good. It's all about the ankle support. Oh, and while you are learning, get the wrist, knee and elbow pads. you don't want to break any of those.
Reply:You have to just have strong ankles. If you have ever rollerskated on the quad wheels just act like you are rollerskating. Most of the deal with rollerblades is mental. If you tell yourself you cant you wont. However for a first timer just have a handrail close by to keep you balance then try small slow strokes to move around. Once you have to balance down you can try turns and stuff.
Reply:usually, it's better to learn to ice skate first... but that's not an option so... i'd say take it slow... But if you already know how to skate, u should be fine. Just don't push off (if you push off on ur toepick on skates) on the front wheel cuz you'll end up on the road.
Reply:try rollerblade on a narrow path between two huge cliffs or large drop offs. the fear of dying should keep you in line
Reply:You can ask someone who knows how to roller blade to teach you.I learned from my brother`s now ex girlfriend.Be very careful.Wear elbow pads, knee pads and everything if you can.I use to go skating around my neighborhood every day that I could without anybody with me or wearing any elbow pads, knee pads and stuff like that until I went to step off A sidewalk, slipped and broke my wrist. It didn't hurt though I just had to wear A cast for about A month after that I was a lot more careful that was over 3 years ago i haven`t had an incident since.

Would you rather ice skate or roller blade?
What if you saw a really hot person holding the skates or blades that you didn't choose...... would you change your mind?
Would you rather ice skate or roller blade?
I'd probably rather ice skate. If i saw you holding roller blades it wouldn't take me long to change my mind, admittedly.
Reply:neither
Reply:Screw the skating and blading. I just want the hott person!
Reply:ice skating is more better to be with chics than rollerblading.
Reply:probably not 'cause i'd be too shy to do anything about it anyway
Reply:Ice.

What's that arcade game with the black kid on roller skates?
There was some game that I used to play on an arcade machine in the lobby of a movie theater and I liked it a lot and I wanted to read about it on the internet, but all I can really remember is that it had a young boy of African American kinship on roller skates, and that one of the bosses was a very large African American woman. Can somebody please help me out? These were the days before roller blades became really cool.

They have there skate boards %26amp; roller blades. Why do they make me out to be a freak? They call me nasty names %26amp; I am nice people.
They called me names because I ride roller skates why?
Because they are jerks and can't see that roller skates and blades are pretty much the same thing but with the wheels in different places.I like roller Skates way more!
Reply:That's just stereotyping. It happens all the time. You do one thing, and you get haters from another group.

Reply:only people who lack self confidence call others names like that. they are trying to reinforce how cool they are by trying to make you seem uncool.
remind them that retro is very in and very cool.
people also will be mean to you as long as you let them see that they can hurt your feelings.
This Is Very Important To Know: when you let someone hurt your feelings, you are showing them respect and that you admire them for their wisdom.
if you think about it that way, only the people you love and who love you should be able to hurt your feelings.
so laugh and these people and make a joke if you can. jokingly turn it back on them as in: what's with this, couldn't you afford to buy all the wheels for your skates. or, your skateboard has four wheels, if you are so great, chop off the ends and see if you can manage a four wheel skate. then lift one of your skates off the ground and show them that you can skate on one short "skateboard."
start your own retro club of skaters.
good luck.
