What rocker for my roller blade is best for speed?

i finally ounce getting a wee good, learned what some peps meant when they talked about rockers, i learned of something that will give me more manuverin, but i want speed, so i was thinking of changin the rocker for speed, which rocker or wheel size and order, is best? i wanna go as fast as i can!

What rocker for my roller blade is best for speed?
For optimal speed you want to have max wheel contact, therefore no rocker.

As you noted, a rocker allows for quicker turning, but it comes at the expense of maximum speed because it raises the front and/or back wheel off the ground.

Addtionally, the bigger the wheel, the greater the speed (one rotation of a larger wheel goes further than the roatation of a smaller one). However, a bigger wheel also reduces maneuverability.

If you want a speed skate setup, go with a set of thin profile 76mm or larger wheels, harder durometer (82A or above) with a flat rocker.

If you want to have maximum agility for hockey, go with a72mm wheel with at least a front wheel rocker. The play surface will dictate wheel durometer and profile (thin and soft indoors, moderate and harder for asphalt).
